Royal Copenhagen 1972 Artist Bodil Buch Blue & Black Rings Danish Modern Coffee Mug – Perfect for Tea, Coffee, and Collectible Display

This is a commemorative mug made by Royal Copenhagen, Denmark in 1972. The design of rings was designed by artist Bodil Buch.

The mug measures 3 inches high by 2.15 inches in diameter and is made of faience, a type of ironstone.

The mug is in very good ++ used vintage condition with the only flaw being a slight dent and discoloration on the base rim under glaze made during manufacture.

A very collectible mug in a design that reminds me of the Olympic rings. 1972 was the Olympic Games in Munich, Germany but I don't know if that is what influenced the artist.
