Description

This is a sterling silver salt spoon made from a King George V sterling silver coin from Rhodesia dated 1936, the year George V died and was succeeded by Edward VIII who later abdicated the throne to George VI.

The concave sixpence has been mounted to a barley twist handle with a beaded wire open work heart shaped finial.

The salt spoon measures 3.25 inches long with the sixpence bowl measuring .75 inch in diameter.

The salt spoon is in excellent condition and is great item of British royal memorabilia and a souvenir of King George V, the grandfather of Queen Elizabeth II.
