Vintage Royal Albert Art Deco Dovecot Birds Cake Plate - Hand Painted 1930s Porcelain Serving Dish for Afternoon Tea & Dessert Parties

This is a wonderful art deco design Royal Albert China, England lugged or handled cake plate or sandwich plate or server made in the 1920s in a pattern called Dovecot.

The bone china cake server measures 9.75 inches by 9.25 inches. The mark is the Royal Albert Crown China, which ia  1920-1930s Royal Albert mark, and the name of the pottery works at that time.

This art deco design features hand painted enamel on mulberry or purple transfer with gold trim with some very cute bluebirds, even though it is called Dovecot.

The plate is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks and almost no wear. A beautiful piece.
