This is a large vintage Wedgwood, English blue and white jasperware large cream and sugar made by the date marks in 1957 and 1961 with the classical themes of Sacrifice To Ceres, some figures from the Sacrifice Figures design and Icarus and Daedalus in hand applied white jasperware.

The creamer measures 5.5 inches high not counting the handle by 5.5 inches long by 4 in diameter and holds 8 ounces and is marked for the date of 1957.

The lidded sugar bowl measures 4 inches high including the lid by 4.5 inches in diameter and is marked for the date of 1961.

The Wedgwood cream and sugar set is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or even crazing, and the interiors, which are glazed, are clean an unstained.
