This is a Shelley China, England large lugged cake or sandwich serving plate or platter in the Hampton Court pattern number 11427 with gold trim.

The pretty design serving platter, sandwich or cake plate was made 1920s, and the design was registered in 1926 with a central fruit basket motif.

The serving plate or platter measures 1 inch high by 9.5 inches long by 8 inches wide.

The bone china plate is in very good +++ vintage used condition with no chips or cracks but does have a bit of gold trim wear and a few utensil marks, minor signs of use.

Perfect for your teatime watercress and egg sandwiches! And shortbread would be quite elegant!!
