This is a vintage Rosina, England cup and saucer made by between 1948 and 1952, pattern number 4984, with a hand colored yellow dog roses on a brown transfer chintz bands with gold trim.
The hand painted on transfer cup is 2.75 inches high and the saucer is 5.5 in diameter.
The cup and saucer are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear.
There are tiny manufacturing glaze misses on the underside of the saucer, more like a dimple really, as in the photo, very minor indeed, but I report everything found...
A wonderful vintage design for your tea table.
