Vintage 1950s Sterling Silver Cake Knife with Floral Design & Stainless Steel Blade - Perfect for Weddings, Anniversaries, and Special Occasions

This is a sterling silver cake knife or cake serving knife in an unknown classical pattern made in the USA in the 1950s.

The American sterling silver cake server has a serrated edge on a stainless steel blade.

The cake knife measures overall  10 inches long and the handle measures .5 of an inch high by 4.25 inches long by by 1 inches wide, and the blade is 5.75 inches long by 1.75 inches wide.

The sterling handled cake knife is in very good ++ used vintage condition with a couple of specks of an unknown substance as shown in the photo on the blade tip and showing general wear from use. The join of handle and blade is a bit messing, and may have possibly been reattached at some time long ago.

The overall weight of the knife is approximately 76 grams.
